- Your files travel straight between Google and your browser. They never touch a server of ours, because we don’t have any.
- Processing runs on your device, exactly as it does with a file from your computer.
- The app can only access the files you pick and the ones it saves to your Drive. Never the rest.
- Access expires after one hour and is never stored. This browser only remembers your name and email so you can reconnect in one click; you can disconnect at any time.

How to use “SVG to PNG/JPG”
- Add one or more SVG files.
- Choose the “Scale”: 1x (original size), 2x (retina screens) or 4x.
- Choose PNG (with transparency) or JPG (with a background).
- Click “Convert” and download the rasterized images.
Rasterized at the chosen scale
An SVG is a vector drawing: it has no pixels. To convert it, your browser draws it straight at the final size (a 64 × 64 icon at 4x comes out at 256 × 256, for example) instead of enlarging a small image, so curves and text stay sharp. The original size is read from the width and height attributes or, if they are missing, from the viewBox. Web fonts and external images linked by the SVG are not loaded, for security: if your SVG uses text, convert it to outlines first.
Are my files uploaded?
No. ShiftAny Images processes your images directly on your device: this tool runs in your browser and never sends your files to any server.
Frequently asked questions
Which scale should I choose?
1x to use it at the design size, 2x for high-density screens (phones, Retina Macs) and 4x for printing or cropping later.
Why does my text come out in another font?
For security, an SVG converted as an image does not load external fonts. Convert the text to outlines in your editor (Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma) before exporting.
Is the transparent background kept?
In PNG, yes. In JPG it is filled with the background color you choose.
Is there a maximum size?
The canvas is capped at about 16.7 million pixels (4096 × 4096, for example), the most every browser can draw. If the scale exceeds it, it is adjusted and we let you know.
